METHOD FOR PREPARING SHAMPOO COMPOSITION CONTAINING EXTRACTS OF RHODODENDRON BRACHYCARPUM, LESPEDEZA CUNEATA G. DON, AND ACTINIDIA ARGUTA

The present invention relates to a method for preparing a shampoo composition containing extracts of Rhododendron brachycarpum, Lespdeza cuneata G. Don, and Actinidia arguta, and to a shampoo composition prepared thereby, comprising the steps of: 1) drying Rhododendron brachycarpum in the shade; 2) steaming the dried Rhododendron brachycarpum for 10 to 20 minutes with steam having a high-temperature of 100 to 120°C, and then drying same for a second time; 3) settling the dried Rhododendron brachycarpum by adding 2 to 2.5 liters of water for every 100 parts by weight of the Rhododendron brachycarpum, and extracting for 10 to 15 hours at a medium temperature of 70 to 90°C; and 4) adding to the acquired liquid extract an oil, which is selected from a group consisting of camellia oil, rosehip oil, and rosehip oil, and a diluent selected from a group consisting of sodium laureth sulfate, ceteareth stearyl alcohol, shea butter, glycolic acid, and ammonium lauryl sulfate. The shampoo composition according to the present invention prepared by the method effectively reduces heat on the scalp and maintains moisture by containing the extracts of Rhododendron brachycarpum, Lespedeza cuneata G. Don, and Actinidia arguta, thereby ultimately reducing scalp stimulation and inflammation, protecting hair, and strengthening hair roots, and thus can be very useful in the relevant field.
