METHOD AND DRILLING ASSEMBLY FOR INSERTING A DRILL PIPE WITH DIRECTIONAL ACCURACY

The invention relates to a method and a drilling assembly for inserting a drill pipe into the ground with directional accuracy. An orientation of the position of the drill pipe is determined at least at the beginning of the insertion, then the orientation of the drill pipe is adjusted by means of an adjusting device, which is controlled by means of a control device, and finally the drill pipe is drilled down into the ground by means of a drilling device. According to the invention, a marking element is arranged on a head region of the drill pipe, and a measuring device, which is independent of the drill pipe and which comprises at least two distance-measuring units, is arranged axially opposite. The axial distance to the marking element is regularly measured by means of the distance-measuring units while the drill pipe is being drilled down, wherein the distance-measuring units each provide independent measured values. The measured distance values are compared in the control device and used to adjust the drill pipe while the drill pipe is being drilled down.
