The system has a base rail (16') extending in a longitudinal direction and comprising a single, open receiving groove (32) that is defined by side walls (34 '', 36'). A support rail comprises a base leg, a supporting leg and an insertion leg. The base leg of the support rail is insertable into the receiving groove of the base rail such that the supporting leg protrudes from the receiving groove. A bracket is positively attachable at an outer side of the base rail. The side walls are upwardly bent such that the support rail is permanently inserted in the base rail.
