The mounting system (10) has base rail structures (16-1-16-3) which are provided in a transverse direction (Y). The supporting rail structures (18-1-18-4), on which the PV modules (12-1-12-4) are secured, are arranged in the longitudinal direction (X). The sockets (24-1-24-4) are connected with the support rail structures in the transverse direction. The supporting rail structures and the base rail structures are connected to the sockets. The brackets (26) are fitted to the base rail structures along the height direction (Z) of the sockets.
