PARALLEL DATABASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND DESIGN SCHEME

A parallel database management system and design scheme, comprising four operation modes for branches, selection, combination, competition, and synchronization; a global table execution unit generates and finds by a mapping method a sub-table execution unit and a sub-table; converting the operations of a virtual sub-table into the operations of a physical table, and summarizing and returning a result. Compared with existing parallel databases, the parallel database of the present invention is provided with heterogeneous database integration, dynamic increase and decrease in branches during operation, comprehensive branch operation modes, and no upper limit for the number of branches (sub-tables), such that an engine user can quickly configure parallel computing, thus satisfying the requirements of user backup, system integration, high-performance computing and the like.
