A plurality of gel-packed columns are connected in series, an excess amount of carbon nanotube dispersion is passed through the columns, carbon nanotubes having specific optical activity are adsorbed in each column, and carbon nanotubes having optical activity and a specific structure are separated out with precision by elution by respective eluents.
