This invention refers to the nucleation and growth process of calcium silicate-based nanocrystals and the toughening of cement materials resulting from the in situ growth of these respective crystals along the hydration reaction in cement, preferentially Portland cement, or another one with similar composition, for several applications, among them the increase in mechanical performance of cement materials for: the filling of underground space between the geological formation and the duct for petroleum or gas exploration in petrochemical wells; the filling of odontological and orthopedical cavities; and the conformation of structural elements for civil work.
