The present invention relates to a composition for releasing chloride ion (Cl-) containing marine micaroorganism-derived rhodopsin protein from inside the cell to outside and the cells, and provides a novel marine micaroorganism-derived rhodopsin protein transporting the chloride ion in the opposite direction compared to archeabacteria-derived rhodopsin previously reported. Since the marine micaroorganism-derived rhodopsin protein in the presnt invention pumps the chloride ion to outside the cell by being activated functionally at low chloride ion concentration, the marine micaroorganism-derived rhodopsin protein can be used in a wide range of industrial field like relief of symptoms of diseases caused by failure of the regulation of chloride ion concentration.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
