The present invention relates to skewered food coated with a coating solution including sugar and a process for preparing the same, wherein the food is prepared by inserting fruits, vegetables, dumplings, and rice cakes into a bamboo stick which has 2-5 mm diameter and 20-30 nm length. The food has a gloss during drying, has no gloss, prevents cracks on a coating layer by coating the fruits, vegetables, dumplings, and rice cakes with a coating solution including sugar. Furthermore, the present invention maintains quality and extends storage periods by improving stability during the storage and display of content.
