The present invention relates to method and system for controlling a bandwidth of traffic based on a fuzzy logic. For the purpose of the present invention, the present invention provides a method for controlling a bit torrent traffic bandwidth by separating a bit torrent traffic among traffic transmitted and received in a network using a fuzzy logic-based mechanism combining one or more traffic classification technologies and by controlling the bandwidth of the separated bit torrent traffic.
