PURPOSE: A method for detecting nucleic acids by color reaction is provided to simply detect a target nucleic acid in naked eyes. CONSTITUTION: A method for detecting nucleic acids by color reaction of magnetic nanoparticles comprises: a step of preparing PCR products of a target nucleic acid; a step of preparing the PCR products and a magnetic nanoparticle solution; a step of adding a substrate for coloring reaction to a mixture solution to induce coloring reaction; and a step of observing color change. The substrate is TMB(3,3',5,5'-tetramethyl benzidine), ABTS(2,2'-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid)) or OPD(o-phenylenediamine).
