AUTOMATIC SNOWFALL OBSERVATION FOR THE MULTI POINT OBSERVATION APPARATUS AND THE METHOD

The present invention relates to a multi-point observation apparatus for automatically observing snowfall and a method for the same and, more specifically, to a multi-point observation apparatus for automatically observing snowfall and a method for the same, which is capable of scanning a plurality of points using a laser in the upper part of snow measuring plates in order to observe an initial snowfall and observing the initial snowfall with an average value through the measurement of snowfall at the scanned multi-points. The multi-point observation apparatus for automatically observing snowfall according to the present invention comprises: a control device on an observing support; a laser snow-depth meter driven in the upper side of the observing support to measure snowfall at a plurality of points on snow measuring plates using a laser; a cruciform concrete base on which the observing support having the laser snow-depth meter installed thereon is formed to be fixed to the center; and the snow measuring plates which are respectively installed to the front and back and left and right sides of the upper part of the cruciform concrete base around the observing support. Therefore, a plurality of points can be scanned with a laser supplied by the laser snow-depth meter and snowfall at the points can be measured, thereby accurately observing snowfall.
