IPTV SYSTEM FOR OFFERING IN MESSAGE MANAGEMENT SERVICE, AND METHOD FOR OFFERING IN MESSAGE MANAGEMENT SERVICE

A system for providing an IPTV message box service and a method thereof are provided to enable a user use an integrated message box service for various message services such as e-mail, wired phone, wireless phone, multimedia message using IPTV. A data broadcast system produces the portal screen data including the information related with the message box service. The return path server system is connected to the IPTV subscriber terminal and return channel through the IP network. The return path server system receives the authentication request message for the service generated from the IPTV subscriber terminal through the IP network. The log information and beginning/ending time information of the subscriber are stored to the return path server system. A personalization certificate server(225) receives the authentication request message from the return path server system. The generated authentication KEY is transmitted to the personalization certificate server through the return path server system and IP network with the IPTV subscriber terminal.
