PURPOSE: A platinum-nickel alloy nanodendrite is provided to increase the specific surface area compare to a spherical nanoparticle with the same size, and to have the most similar structure with the lattice distance of the most active Pd. CONSTITUTION: A platinum-nickel alloy nanodendrite for a fuel cell catalyst is a nanoparticle containing platinum and nickel, and the nanoparticle is controlled into a dendritic form. The end of the nanodendrite is a high-index surface. A producing method of a platinum-nickel alloy nanodendritic catalyst for a fuel cell comprises the following steps: producing the platinum-nickel alloy nanodendrite with a shape controlled into a dendritic form; and dispersing the nanodendrite on the surface of a carbon based carrier.
