The present invention relates to a font formation device for creating fonts using the glyph and a method thereof. The font generating method according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a step of creating the first basis glyph as the fundamental type of letter or the character element, a step of a font of an interpolation glyph based on the different shape of glyphs to perform by using at least two among the second or the a basis glyph in which the step of being created (a is the fixed number more than 2), and a step of at least one of width and length enlargements of the fundamental type are applied to the step, creating different glyphs from the a basis glyph thus by generating fonts from basis and interpolation glyphs.
