The traveling control apparatus of the work vehicle includes an HST driving apparatus having a hydraulic pump driven by a prime mover and a hydraulic motor connected to a hydraulic pump in a closed loop, an electric motor driven by using electric power generated by driving of the prime mover, and an HST driving apparatus. The first drive wheel driven by the motor, the second drive wheel driven by the electric motor, the vehicle speed detector for detecting the vehicle speed, and the increase in the detected vehicle speed reduce the ratio of the first power generated by the HST drive device. And a control unit for distributing the output of the prime mover to the HST drive and the electric motor so that the ratio of the second power generated by the electric motor is increased.
