The present invention relates to a device for measuring the circumference of a green tire formed in a carcass drum when green tires are manufactured and, more specifically, to a circumference measuring device for a green tire which can maintain constant quality by checking the manufactured state of green tires because the circumference of the green tires are accurately measured with reduced measurement errors by minimizing deformation during the circumference measurement of the green tires. The circumference measuring device for a green tire comprises a compression center roll (4) coming in contact with the tread of the green tires (2) to measure the circumference of the green tires (2) by transferring the green tires (2) completed in the carcass drum (1) with a green tire transferring part (3). The compression center roll (3) is installed in a mounting plate (8) which is connected to a cylinder (6) fixated on a cylinder fixing plate (5) and which moves back and forth along a guide bar (7). In the mounting plate (8), a load cell (9) is embedded in the mounting plate (8), and a magnet (11) reacting with a contactless distance measuring sensor (10) installed in the green tire transferring part (3) is installed.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
