TIRE CIRCUMFERENCE MEASURING DEVICE USING A NONCONTACT SENSOR AND A TIRE CIRCUMFERENCE MEASURING METHOD, CAPABLE OF IMPROVING THE RELIABILITY OF A PRODUCT BY MEASURING THE CIRCUMFERENCE OF THE PRODUCT WITH AN AUTOMATION DEVICE
PURPOSE: A tire circumference measuring device using a noncontact sensor and a tire circumference measuring method are provided to automate a tire circumference inspection so that a total inspection is possible.;CONSTITUTION: A tire circumference measuring device using a noncontact sensor includes a tire rotation unit and a measurement unit. The tire rotation unit includes a mounting rim, a rotation driving device, and an angle measurement sensor. The mounting rim mounts a tire, and the rotation driving device rotates the tire at a desired angle. The angle measurement sensor measures the rotation angle of the mounting rim. The measurement unit includes a camera, a laser displacement sensor, a laser sensor actuator, and an image analyzing device. The camera photographs a tread portion of the tire. The laser displacement sensor measures the distance to the tire, thereby measuring a radius. The laser sensor driving device moves the laser displacement sensor along a laser sensor guide.
