The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for generating a two-dimensional plot for the accuracy verification of a quantitative inspection for a vitro diagnosis. The two-dimensional plot generating apparatus and the method thereof according to the present invention include: an input unit which receives a verification object inspection method; a measurement unit which measures an analysis material from a standard material by the verification object inspection method or measures an inspection sample of a patient by the verification object inspection method and a reference inspection method by receiving the verification object inspection method from the input unit; a data storage unit which stores the standard material, the reference inspection method, and significance criteria for medical inspection; a generation unit which composes a two-dimensional plot, arranges the significance criteria stored in the data storage unit in a row of the plot, virtually sets areas including a concentration value average of the analysis material which is measured from the standard material by the verification object inspection method in a column of the plot or areas including a concentration value of the analysis material measured from the inspection sample of the patient by the reference inspection method, and divides a significance range of the medical inspection about the areas corresponding to each of the significance criteria; and a control unit which controls the input unit, the measurement unit, the data storage unit, and the generation unit, controls the generation unit in order to generate the two-dimensional plot, and controls that the generated two-dimensional plot is displayed to a user through a display means.
