The present invention relates to a poly(tetra phenyl ether) sulfone copolymer with multiple quaternary ammonium hydroxide groups in a repeating unit body, a production method thereof, and a polymer electrolyte membrane for an alkaline fuel cell including the copolymer. In the present invention, high ion conductivity and thermal stability are shown by introducing 2-6 ammonium hydroxide groups to an aromatic ring located on a side chain of the copolymer, and the conductivity of hydroxyl ions are improved by a clustering effect among hydrophilic moieties by the structural specificity.
