The present invention relates to an energy saver and an elevator operating apparatus using the same and includes: a converter which supplies direct current power; an inverter which controls operation of the electrical motor by converting the direct current power supplied into alternating current; and an energy saver which saves regenerative electric power provided by the inverter.
