The present invention relates to an energy saver, an elevator operating method using the same, and a system thereof. The energy saver for receiving regenerative energy from multiple elevators and saving regenerative energy comprises: multiple first conversion parts respectively connected to the multiple elevators to receive regenerative energy; storage for storing the regenerative energy supplied from the first conversion part; a second conversion part for supplying at least a part of regenerative energy stored in the storage to a meter system; and a control part for controlling to supply regenerative energy to the meter system or at least a part among the multiple elevators according to storage of the regenerative energy. According to the present invention, regenerative energy generated according to operation of an elevator is stored by using an energy saver, and energy efficiency of a power distribution system and multiple elevators can be increased by interconnecting an energy saver, multiple elevators, and a power distribution system.
