摘要

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a catalyst for carbon nanotube synthesis using ultrasound pyrolysis and carbon nanotubes using the catalyst manufactured thereby. The manufacturing method of the present invention forms a catalyst raw solution into droplets through an ultrasonic oscillator and performs pyrolysis on the droplets by transferring the droplets, thereby resolving the blockage of an existing spray nozzle. The manuacturing method is able to control the particle size of the droplets by controlling the conditions of the ultrasonic oscillator and is able to control the diameter of the catalyst for carbon nanotube synthesis. The manufacturing method produces the catalyst for carbon nanotube synthesis which has a particle size of less than 10 m, is smooth since other particles are not fixed on the surface and maintains an uniform globular shape, and is able to produce carbon nanotubes with improved synthesis yield by increasing specific surface area and enhancing reaction rate when the catalyst makes react with hydrocarbon.
