The present invention relates to a configuration and processing method for a digital input/output board capable of logic simulation and real-time input and output, which is capable of, in the digital input/output board, processing real-time digital input and output independently of a non-real-time operating system or a central processing unit (CPU) of a general-purpose system, including an external trigger and an internal trigger for synchronization between start and stop operations of a digital input and output operation, comparing data by logic simulation of processing digital input and output with input and output data by hardware, and enabling an administrator and a digital input/output program developer to perform a series of pre-defined tasks according to digital input by executing a user-defined function address and a user-defined routine linked thereto according to real-time digital input by hardware or binarizing a user-defined function and an operating method thereof and then delivering the binarized function and operating method to hardware.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014;[Reference numerals] (AA) Start; (BB,DD,EE) Yes; (CC,FF) No; (GG) End; (S1) Set digital input/output logic for each channel; (S10) Set hardware for digital input/output data for each channel; (S11) Set a real-time interrupt clock generator; (S12) Start and stop real-time digital input/output by an external trigger and internal trigger of hardware; (S13) Perform digital input and output operations and collect the entire data; (S14) Does a user function address pre-defined for digital input exist?; (S15) Call a user-designated function; (S16) Does a user requests actual hardware digital input/output results and data related thereto; (S17) Repeat the operations; (S2) Set an ON time (rising edge) and an OFF time (falling edge) of digital input/output for each channel; (S3) Set an input/output active holding time for each channel; (S4) Set digital input/output dependency for each channel; (S5) Register a user-defined function address for digital input for each channel; (S6) Output simultaneously a comparison data screen when digital input/output comparison and evaluation data by hardware exist in response to simulation for each channel; (S7) Does an error of digital input/output logic simulation by software exist?; (S8) Complete generation of logic simulation data; (S9) Transmit data generated by using a general-purpose computer interface to a digital input/output board
