The present invention relates to a device for casting a cylinder head and a method for thermally treating the cylinder head. The device for casting the cylinder head, which is connected to a mold through a pressing unit and a connection pipe, casts a product by pressing and injecting molten metal inside the mold. The device for casting the cylinder head includes a metal supply unit which stores and stabilizes the supplied molten metal; the pressing unit which is separately formed from the metal supply unit and which receives the stabilized molten metal from the metal supply unit and supplies to the mold; and a stopper which is dipped into the molten metal inside the metal supply unit and which controls the amount of the molten metal being transferred to the pressing unit.
