An embodiment of the present invention relates to a microscope device and, more specifically, to a dual detection fluorescence confocal microscope device and a method of obtaining an image using the device. In a microscope device to obtain a three-dimensional image of a fluorescent material, provided is a confocal microscope device comprising: a specimen part with a specimen including a fluorescent material and an object lens to observe the specimen; and a detection part with a first pin hole and a second pin hole in different sizes and a first photomultiplier tube (PMT) and a second photomultiplier tube (PMT) to measure a fluorescent signal passing through the first pin hole and the second pin hole, respectively. The detection part finds the height of the specimen through the intensity of each fluorescent signal measured in the first photomultiplier tube and the second photomultiplier tube and obtains the three-dimensional image.
