The present invention relates to a technique for automatically optimizing an auto page-turning function for an electronic book in an electronic book viewer program installed on various electronic devices (for example, a smart phone, an electronic book terminal, a tablet computer, and a laptop) and, more specifically, to a technique for automatically optimizing an auto page-turning function set to an electronic book viewer program, considering content characteristics including the number of texts included in a page, which a user is currently reading, and additional reading characteristics of the user, in the electronic book viewer program installed on various electronic devices. According to the present invention, convenience of an electronic book reader can be improved by optimizing an auto page-turning function, considering content characteristics of electronic book content, which a user is currently reading, and reading characteristics of the user in an electronic book viewer program.
