The present invention relates to novel cyclopentadithiophene derivatives and, more specifically, to novel cyclopentadithiophene derivatives significantly increasing photoelectric conversion efficiency by being used as a dye for a dye-sensitized solar cell and improving thermal stability and photo stability by introducing alkyl group to the cyclopentadithiophene, thereby being useful as a dye for the dye-sensitized solar cell using solid-phase electrolytes and as a monomer for a polymer/monomer mixed solar cell.
