The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for calculating a human networking index using a communications log, and more specifically, to a method and an apparatus for calculating a human networking index using a ratio of a first number of communications for the entire period to a second number of communications for a selected period. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for calculating a human networking index comprises the following steps: acquiring a communications log of a terminal to a person identifier; acquiring a first number of communications indicating the number of communications made for the entire period based on the communications log; acquiring a second number of communications indicating the number of communications made for a selected period, which is a part of the entire period, based on the communications log; and calculating the human networking index based on a ratio of the first number of communications to the second number of communications.
