FABRICATION METHOD OF NO2 GAS SENSOR HAVING NANOWIRES THAT COATED WITH SILVER NANOPARTICLES AND SILVER OXIDE NANOPARTICLES, AND SENSOR FABRICATED BY THE SAME
The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of an NO_2 gas sensor having the surface coated with silver nanoparticles and silver oxide nanoparticles, and a sensor manufactured by the same. According to the present invention, the surfaces of the nanowires are coated with the silver nanoparticles having a certain size and a surface area ratio by controlling the concentration of a silver nanoparticle mother liquor and a condition of gamma ray irradiation. Then, a heat treatment is performed on the surfaces of the nanowires so that the silver nanoparticles and the silver oxide nanoparticles can coexist. Therefore, selective sensing performance with respect to NO_2 gas is significantly enhanced.
