The present invention relates to a mobile terminal capable of promoting economical vehicle driving and an eco-driving guide method thereof. The method includes the steps of: displaying a reaction image which reacts with the running speed of a vehicle when receiving an eco-driving mode request from the vehicle; detecting the modification rate of the reaction image which reacts with the running speed of the vehicle and displaying the fuel consumption of the vehicle corresponding to the modification rate of the detected reaction image; and displaying the modification of the reaction image warning of excess fuel consumption when the displayed fuel consumption exceeds a predetermined maximum reference value.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
