A derailment preventing device of a drum wire rope for an overhead crane is introduced. The derailment preventing device of a drum wire rope for an overhead crane of the present invention comprises a drum where a winding groove is formed on the outer circumference surface in order for a wire rope to be wound; a derailment preventing part preventing the wire rope from being derailed from the winding groove by rotating along the winding groove when the drum rotates; a supporting frame; and a sliding bracket mediating the derailment preventing part and the supporting frame in order for the derailment preventing part to slide and move on the surface of the supporting frame.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
