The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a food composition which comprises the steps of preparing popped rice ground material, and mixing the popped rice ground material with a vegetable dough ground material and a vegetable freeze-dried material. The popped rice ground material is manufactured by drying rice after mixing with a coating fluid, popping the dried rice at 230-280 C, and grinding the popped rice, and the vegetable dough ground material is manufactured by primarily grinding vegetable, then kneading after mixing water with a primary vegetable ground material, heat drying the same, and secondarily grinding the dried vegetable dough. The food composition of the present invention has not only both of bitten properties and softness, but also convenience.
