The present invention relates to a feed additive containing microencapsulated red ginseng residues as an active ingredient and a feed for livestock, comprising the same. The microencapsulated red ginseng residues, according to the present invention, make the hair color of livestock darker and vivid, enhance agility and physical strength of livestock, improve resistibility against diseases, and increase amount of meat and meat color because the microencapsulated red ginseng residues improve body absorption rate by inducing the microencapsulation of the red ginseng residues. Therefore, the feed additive containing microencapsulated red ginseng residues can be usefully used for a feed additive and a feed because the feed additive can promote the growth of livestock and improve immunity of livestock.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
