The present invention relates to a thermal shock tester and a thermal shock testing method allowing continuous testing and, more particularly, to a thermal shock tester and a thermal shock testing method for allowing continuous testing in a test temperature range even without additional setting for testing in a specific temperature range. The thermal shock tester includes a test room (11) where a sample is accommodated; a low-temperature room (12) that is positioned below the test room (11); a buffer area (D) that is positioned between the test room (11) and the low-temperature room (12); a high-temperature room (15) that is positioned above the low-temperature room (12) and is connected to the test room (11); an evaporator and a heater that are formed in the high-temperature room (15); air blower fans that are respectively disposed in the low-temperature room (15) and the high-temperature room (15); and a control panel. The evaporator and the heater have preliminary heating and cooling functions during the course of high-temperature and low-temperature changes.
