The present invention relates to a system for controlling charge/discharge of a battery of an electric car in a V2G environment and a method for optimally efficiently controlling charge/discharge of a battery of an electric car for power trading. The method for controlling charge/discharge of a battery for power trading using a system for charging/discharging an electric car battery includes: a discharging property determining step of calculating respective discharging property curves for a total discharge amount according to time progress by each discharging current based on prestored discharging property data for an electric car battery; a discharging condition determining step of determining a discharging condition including a discharging time range and a discharging voltage of the battery based on the discharging property curves and power price information; and a discharge performing step of discharging the battery to a power grid according to the discharging condition through a system for charging/discharging an electric car battery. According to the present invention, the system and the method can maximize profits as a prosumer by maximizing battery discharging efficiency of the electric car in a real time transport protocol (RTP) environment, and allow the electric car battery to be effectively used as an energy storing device in the V2G environment considering individual user properties without hampering efficiency of using an electric car.
