The present invention relates to a method for separating fractions having anti-inflammatory or osteoarthritis inhibition effect which comprising: drying oyster shells got during a production process of oysters into a powder after removing foreign matters and a cleaning process; obtaining a reaction product by reacting with aqueous citric acid; and separating a supernatant obtained by centrifuging the reaction product by ultrafiltration. The present invention allows reducing energy costs by reacting at a relatively low temperature and separating the fractions having anti-inflammatory or osteoarthritis inhibition effect in a relatively simple manner.
