PURPOSE: An Ophiopogon japonicus-derived EST-SSR primer and a use thereof are provided to effectively detect DNA polymorphism of Ophiopogon japonicus . CONSTITUTION: An EST-SSR primer pair contains two nucleic acid sequences selected from sequence numbers 1-44. The primer pair is derived from Ophiopogon japonicus. A kit for determining the kind of Ophiopogon jaburan family of Ophiopogon japonicus genus contains a reagent for amplification and the primer pair. The reagent contains DNA polymerase, dNTPs, and a buffer.
