The present invention displays the minimum and maximum width of a parking area guide line and a stationary point as a line in a reverse process by considering the data of a vehicle when the parking area is displayed. The parking assist system for vehicles according to the present invention includes a camera mounted on the rear side of the vehicle, a display part installed inside the vehicle, and a parking assist control unit connected to the camera and the display part. The parking assist control unit includes: a parking logic calculation unit for calculating a parking logic by receiving a steering angle, a vehicle speed, and a parking mode from the vehicle; a parking area guide line display unit to display a parking area guide line for assisting the parking based on a calculation result of the parking logic calculation unit; and an image composing unit for composing the display result of the parking logic calculation unit and the parking area guide line display unit with the images obtained by the camera.
