The present invention relates to an anaerobic digesting apparatus having a successive acid fermenting bath and a methane fermenting bath. The present invention comprises: a scum removing means, which does not require extra gas process means by removing scum effectively by using the gas produced by an acid fermenting bath. The concentration of methane germs is kept high in the methane fermenting bath, which accelerates the decomposition of organic matters and shortens HRT; furthermore, the whole volume of the digesting bath is reduced.
