An object of the present invention is to provide a low-volume and lightweight separator for a thin film fuel cell, which has low resistance and high flexural rigidity, and a method of manufacturing the separator. The present invention is characterized in that: the separator is formed through a mesh shaping process (a grid shaping process) using first and second shaping mixtures that are different in mixing ratio of a conductive carbon material to a thermosetting resin; and the first shaping mixture is smaller than the second shaping mixture in mixing ratio of a conductive carbon material to a thermosetting resin. Also, the present invention is characterized in that flexural rigidity and electrical conductivity required for a fuel cell separator are simultaneously ensured according to a simple shaping method without using a specific polymer resin and a high cost conductive carbon material. In particular, the present invention provides a low cost and high quality separator for a fuel cell of a vehicle.
