The present invention relates to development of functional food for weight regulation through activation AMPK and inhibition lipid absorption in intestines using unripe astringent persimmon extracts, and more specifically, to a method for obtaining extracts for weight regulation and fraction extracts from unripe astringent persimmon and using the extracts to functional food. The present invention provides functional food including unripe astringent persimmon extracts as an active ingredient. Weight regulation is implemented by the activation of AMPK (AMP-activated protein kinase) and the inhibition of intestinal fat absorption.
