Disclosed is a wire saw (1) in which an ingot (W) ascends and descends and is swung, and which has a structure improved in order to facilitate the alignment of a swing center shaft (S) and cutting wires (100). In the wire saw (1), the wires (100), which are rolled by two work rollers (R2) separated each other, form a cutting plane (SZ) of the wire lines, and a lifting frame (220) is mounted on a column (210), which is protruding upwardly, to be able to ascend and descend. The lifting frame (220) is combined with an ingot support housing (300). The swing center shaft (S) is mounted on the ingot support housing (300) to be able to rotate. An ingot swing housing (400) is combined with the swing center shaft (S). The ingot (W) is fixated to the ingot swing housing (400). Accordingly, the ingot (W) ascends and descends according to the ascending and descending of the lifting frame (220), and the ingot (W) is swung according to the rotation of the swing center shaft (S). Moreover, the ingot support housing (300) and the lifting frame (220) are connected by a hinge shaft to able to rotate relatively in parallel with the cutting wires. Accordingly, a task for adjusting the swing center shaft (S) to be placed at the right angle to the cutting wires is performed efficiently before or after a process for cutting the ingot (W) while swinging the ingot (W).
