Electrode Assembly of Excellent Productivity and Cycle Capability and Secondary Battery Comprising the Same

PURPOSE: An electrode assembly is provided to continuously maintain adhesion between a negative electrode and a separator and a negative electrode current collector and a negative electrode mixture, thereby improving processing and cycle performance. CONSTITUTION: An electrode assembly has a plurality of overlapped unit bodies each of which consists of a separator, a positive electrode, and a negative electrode. A negative electrode current collector is coated with a negative electrode mixture which comprises an active material and a binder. A continuous separator sheet is inserted into each of the overlapped part. The binder includes a polymer particle which is polymerized by using a (meth)acrylic acid ester-based monomer, vinyl-based monomer, and unsaturated carbonic acid-based monomer. The negative electrode mixture includes 1-2.5 weight% of the polymer particle based on the total weight of the negative electrode mixture.
