A device for measuring the moisture content of a plant root is disclosed. The device for measuring the moisture content of a plant root according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises weight sensors for detecting the weight of a slab where plants are set; a nutrient solution supply amount detection sensor for detecting the amount of a nutrient solution supplied to the slab; a nutrient solution discharge amount detection sensor for detecting the amount of the nutrient solution discharged from the slab; and a casing arranged to integrally install the weight sensors, the nutrient solution supply amount detection sensor, and the nutrient solution discharge amount detection sensor. The casing is arranged to plate the slab on the top while guiding the nutrient solution supplied to the slab and the nutrient solution discharged from the slab to the nutrient solution supply amount detection sensor and the nutrient solution discharge amount detection sensor. The weight sensors measure loads applied to at least two points of the outside of the slab. The nutrient solution supply amount detection sensor and the nutrient solution discharge amount detection sensor can be formed of a tipping bucket-type rain gauge.
