Provided is an excreta detection apparatus for diapers capable of detecting excreta existing in a diaper, and an excreta detection reader capable of informing a user of whether or not excreta exists while transceiving signals with the excreta detection apparatus for the diaper. A large scale of a resonant frequency is determined based on a capacitor which is not influenced by excreta by being isolated from the excreta, and a low scale of the resonant frequency changed by the excreta is determined based on a capacitor of which the permittivity is changed by the excreta. Hence, even when a relatively narrow frequency band is swept, excreta can be detected. Moreover, since excreta is detected not only at a specific resonant frequency but also through a comparison between resonant frequencies before and after defecation, detection can be possible regardless of the condition of the excreta.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
