An apparatus and a method for managing seminar participants are disclosed. Embodiments of the invention provides a technique for regarding those users carrying client terminals, which transmitted an access point (AP) list including information on a plurality of APs as seminal participants based on an AP database storing the information on the APs installed on an indoor place where a seminar is held, thereby assisting a host of the seminar, such that the host easily manages the members participating in the seminar.
