No one wants to travel because it's expensive and because a fear factor has, unfortunately, invaded our consciousness. Yet everyone in the spring industry is quick to agree that educational opportunities are one of the prime services that SMI provides. Until now, these two elements of personal choice - travel and educational events - had seemed mutually exclusive. That is, until now... However, within the next two months, SMI will unveil a Web-based learning concept that will allow springmakers to participate in highly focused seminars without leaving their locations. In addition, each facility can have as many participants as possible at one all-inclusive price for each terminal logged onto the Web seminar. Basically, springmakers will get the best of all worlds by eliminating all travel expenses, reducing the time personnel will be away from production and including as many participants as possible for only one registration fee. Web-based education is the answer.
