PURPOSE: A quantum dot-sensitized solar cell is provided to increase the light absorption rate of a quantum dot and to efficiently transmit electrons and holes without recombination. CONSTITUTION: A counter electrode faces a photocathode. The photocathode includes a transparent conductive substrate, a photosensitive quantum dot layer, and a ZnS capping layer. The photocathode is thermally processed after the ZnS capping layer is formed. The transparent conductive substrate is a fluorine-doped tin oxide substrate.
