The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating or preventing neurological disorders caused by alcohol exposure during pregnancy, and a dietary supplement for alleviating or preventing neurological disorders caused by alcohol exposure during pregnancy, containing metformin or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. In addition, the present invention comprises the composition further containing thymoquinone or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and the dietary supplement further containing thymoquinone or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The composition and the dietary supplement of the present protects the nerves of a fetus who is expected to have neurological disorders caused by alcohol intake by a mother, thereby preventing or treating neurological disorders caused by alcohol exposure of a fetus.
